Why a Private tour?

Get away from the crowd, save time and get one-on-one service! Do you have a particular area of interest or want to see something special? You're the boss!

Where can we go?

We're planning to operate tours around the mid-Shannon region of the Irish midlands - from Athlone to Portumna, Ballinasloe to Tullamore. We're launching in June 2016, starting with walking tours of Banagher and other nearby locations.

What is included on our tour?

Your guide's time, expertise and hospitality for the duration of your tour. For a Walking Tour - 2 hours; for a Day Tour - up to eight hours from meeting you to saying sl├ín (farewell in Irish).

What isn't included on our tour?

Entry fees to selected sites are not included but we'll let you know what they are in advance. (Local sites charging entrance include: Clonmacnoise, Birr Castle, and the Tullamore D.E.W. Visitor Centre.) Although we will strive to give you the best tour we can, we can't give you all the information for each place. If there's something more you want to know, or a question that we can't answer on the day, we'll do our best to find out the answer for you after your tour!

Tipping

Tipping for walking tours and day tours isn't expected but won't be declined.

Terms and Conditions

Bookings for Day Tours can be refunded in full, subject to 7 days notice. For Walking Tours, two days notice is required for full refunds and one day for 50%. Other Terms and Conditions to be decided shortly.
